Jessica contacted me to schedule her maternity session about 4 or so months ago. We discussed some gown options as well as locations. Once we discussed Assateague we knew it was a perfect location. Little bit woodsy, with a gorgeous beach. When Jessica and the kids came to try on gowns, we knew instantly which gowns would be perfect for her. Every, single, gown she tried on was made for her.
One thing about the beach is the weather is a little unpredictable. Bay side was perfect however, it had a ton of mosquitos, the sun was peeking through the tall trees making the session even more magical.
Stepping on to the beach I love watching the excitement from the children, it is one of my favorite parts. Of course it is always a little hard to get younger children to be part of the session once we are near the water, I always tell my clients we will take what we can get.
The fog started rolling in over the ocean which made for some soft skies and it really helped the dress colors pop. Jessica looks absolutely stunning and they have a beautiful family. I cannot wait to photograph their newest addition in a few short weeks.
