All I can say is I AM BLESSED! Look at all of these beautiful babies that I got to snuggle and of course photograph in 2019, 68 to be exact. For the year I had a main focus on photographing newborns, children, maternity, and families. My reason I decided to primary focus on these is because I feel like that is my calling, that is what I love. If I photographed every type of session someone asked me to I would be all over the place with my style.
When a client hires me to document their newborn session, it means more than just earning a paycheck. It means they trust me, they love my style, and of course that my creativity caught their attention. When scheduling a newborn session I send each client a questionnaire this helps me prepare for what colors, style, and props they would like me to use. My favorite session of all is when a client fills out the questionnaire and tells me to do whatever I want for their session. This allows me to be even more creative and incorporate new props and posing. I also send a prep guide with my questionnaire so parents know how to prepare for their session before arriving to my studio. The guide will help our session flow smoothly.
Safety is very important to me. I take all precautions while I am photographing your child. Every year I do educate myself by traveling to take newborn workshops. These workshops teach me new posing, styling, and more importantly safety techniques. Always remember babies are not on our schedule, we are on theirs. I take my time and I promise you that you will leave loving every single set up I choose, just ask all of these sweet babies parents how they liked their session.
